Our digital art project with Roy Allen and Jonathon Goodfellow is advancing - no date of release yet but we have a poster and a webpage now.
Click the image to go to the page and get the background on the project ... We have teamed up with Roy Allen - an eminent Hollywood actor, and Jonathon Goodfellow, an abstract photographer and artist based in Australia, to bring some of Alp's words to life. The story Juxtaposition by Alp Mortal is being used as the basis of an abstraction, which will combine Alp's words, Roy's voice talent and Jonathon's imagery to create something truly unique. More details will be released very soon. The Carter Seagrove Project Alp's Centum Path series, which debuted with Black Moon Rising, is coming on and we are thrilled to reveal the cover for part two and preview chapter one of The Time Weavers. Click the cover to read chapter one on-line. We cannot confirm a publication date yet, but as soon as we can we will. The Carter Seagrove Project Our friend Kevin Klehr invited us to contribute a post for his blog - on the subject of collaborative working.
We could not have been more pleased to be invited - find the blog post over on Kevin's website - CLICK HERE Alp is planning a spotlight feature on Kevin in the near future - look out for that. Carter Seagrove Our major short film project - Tonight It's You - is currently doing the festival circuit, having already been screened at Frameline 40 and OutfestLA 2016. However, due to overwhelming demand, we have produced a trailer - click here to watch it on Youtube. The full film is available on Vimeo On Demand, at a cost of just $1 - click here. Proceeds from the Vimeo On Demand fee will fund the next ASPD film project. We really hope you like the film - it's a horror film, be warned, and Jake Robbins, as CJ, is seriously freaking sexy. We will bring you news of the latest festival selections as and when we can release the information. The Carter Seagrove Project Executive Producer Tonight It's You in association with ASPD Films Morgan Starr's latest release - All Breakages Must Be Paid For - has received a four star rating from Kazza at OnTopDownUnder reviews. This is the third Morgan story that Kazza has reviewed and in each case, he has awarded a 4 star rating - we are immensely proud of Morgan's stories and his achievements to date. Our authors [like so many] have a difficult relationship with reviews but as a publisher, we are always keen to see the feedback from readers and reviewers alike. We are extremely grateful for the support from Kazza, especially as his reviews are very honest and genuine. We recommend his site for that reason. The Carter Seagrove Project 11th July 2016 We were finding it difficult to come up with a word for a series that is not a series - so we hit on season - and Morgan's 2nd season has just kicked off with All Breakages Must Be Paid For - out now at all major ebook retailers. Morgan's latest story is our 102nd title to be published since 4th February 2015 - and it's Morgan's 7th - his first season of stories can be found on our gallery page - click here. Dan, who is just turning eighteen, is looking for his dad who left sixteen years ago without any explanation. Dan’s only clue to his whereabouts is based on a postcard that his gran had received shortly after his disappearance. What starts out as a search for his father turns into a personal odyssey - and what he finds is nothing like what he expects. You may remember that recently we celebrated our 99th, 100th and 101st titles to be published - as part of our 100th published titles celebrations, Morgan made his debut story - Hickory, Dickory, Dock permanently free - click here to find that. The story was also featured on the OnTopDownUnder review website and was awarded 4 stars by Kazza - link to the review. Apparently, Morgan is now taking a break for a holiday - we had to look that word up in the dictionary - but there was the promise that the trip is very likely to spawn more than a few stories - we shudder to think as to where he might be going ... Meantime, the rest of us [hardworking souls that we are] are busy preparing for the next release - which will almost certainly be Chambers Mars' second series debut of The Life & Time of Johnny Sante [someone in the office is getting very excited ... and it has nothing to do with the delivery of her new Bugatti]. ALP x Our film project in collaboration with ASPD Films - Tonight It's You - has just screened at the Frameline Festival in San Francisco - it was very well received. Next up, the premiere in Los Angeles at the Outfest Festival as part of the Scared Stiff Short programme, on 9th July - click here for details and ticketing.
You probably remember that our collaboration came about as a consequence of seeing Jake Robbins in Tonight It's Me - following which, we invested in the crowdfunding campaign to get the sequel made - things kinda of snowballed from there. We have some exclusive images that we've put together in the gallery below. We are extremely proud of the film - which eventually, you will all be able to see once the film is released on-line. There is no confirmed date for that yet, due to the possibility of the film being screened at some more festivals. We'll bring you updates as and when we have the information. The Carter Seagrove Project Crew Executive Producer - Tonight It's You 29th June 2016 Following the announcement that Tonight It's You is being premiered at Frameline 40 [on 16th June], we are thrilled to announce that the film is also being screened at Outfest Los Angeles 2016 [on 9th July]
If you haven't seen the first film - Tonight It's Me - then you can catch it on Youtube - click here Tonight It's You comes from the same creative team of Jake Robbins, Dominic Haxton and ASPD Films. We could not be more proud of the film, or happier for Jake and the team. We're planning a full feature on the film and the process of bringing it to the screen - it has been a roller-coaster ride of a journey [and one not for the impatient or fainthearted!]. We will bring you news of the on-line release of the film as soon as we have the date. For Facebook followers - the film has its own page https://www.facebook.com/tonightitsyouwww.facebook.com/tonightitsyou The Carter Seagrove Project |
