Kenny is running from a past that he would like to forget; Johnny is sinking into the present, a present which he hesitates to move from. Caught in the cross-hairs of Fate’s sight, they meet at a crossroads in the middle of nowhere.

Propelled by a re-occurring dream in which the two of them are standing together on a deserted beach beside a bleached out old tree from which a wind chime is hanging, they embark on a road trip with no choice but to put all of their faith in their new-found love. They find so much more than they could ever dream.

This story was originally published in two parts: Hold It! and The Eclipse of Venus.
