There's a lot going on right now and we just wanted to let you know what was coming up in the next couple of months.
Shannon and Chambers are both on vacation until the end of the month, leaving me, Alp, holding the fort, the company credit card and most importantly, three dogs and a 1990 Corvette ... there is a god and he does love me!
Our first home-grown film project - LABELS - now has a screenplay. It needs a lot of work but we now have a complete story. Once the gang is back together by the end of the month, we'll be talking to the management at the club where we hope to film, also decide how to recruit the actors for the three principal roles, organise stuff like insurance and permits, get the scenes designed. This is our first foray into making our own film - and it is planned to be the first of a series of films, dealing with a range of topics. LABELS is based on the theme of stereotypes - one stereotype in particular - future films will do the same.
The idea of doing a film came as a result of the success of the book trailer for Dust Jacket

If you haven't seen the trailer, please take a look; it features the voice talent of Stewart Campbell the VO artist who we used for the first three audiobooks we have done so far this year.
And we are planning more audiobooks, including at least one narrated by the author - most likely Alp. Seeing as he never shuts up, we thought he might as well narrate a story. And we will be doing more book trailers and probably extended excerpt-based featurettes (if that is the right word). Some of this is possible because we are now collaborating with indie film maker Corry Housdan.
Writing projects only ever seem to be growing in number; the principal ones, which will appear over the next few months are -
Check-In - sixth instalment of The Tales of The Unexpected series - Alp Mortal
Johnny, Not Now - fifth instalment of The Life and Times Of Johnny Sante - Chambers Mars
Mirror, Mirror - the 21st (fucking hell!) Zac Tremble Case File - Chambers Mars
Agent X - Series 2 debut - The Inspector Fenchurch Mysteries - Carter Seagrove
Oswald's Lament - a spin off story from The Weaver & The Loom - Alp Mortal
Next instalment - Trojan Horse - a Space Opera - we all contribute to this web-only series
Next crime - Virtuoso - The Twelve Crimes of Hannah Smith - Alp Mortal's web-only crime series
Black Moon Rising - Alp Mortal's first sci-fi story
There are projects yet to be discussed and agreed but some of these may make it to the screen or shelf by the end of the year -
An illustrated edition of the one or more of the Zac Tremble case files
Completion of The Map Stick series (come on, Alp - get your bloody finger out!!)
We would dearly love to attract other authors to the label - so there may be a submission call before the end of the year
Putting excerpts on all of the book pages in the title gallery
A video-based title gallery
An overhaul of the websites
And we really hope to bring you the sequel to Tonight It's Me. Today It's You is the film we are making with Jake Robbins and Dominic Haxton.
A huge number of projects - but hey, gotta dream big and we get so much out of the Project that the energy for doing it is limitless - we're only constrained by time (and the fact that the three of us are based on different continents doesn't always help).
Weekend is nearly upon us, I have a company credit card and a Corvette - the possibilities are endless!
Thank you so much for your support and encouragement - we couldn't do it without you.

(not on vacation - not bitter - much!)
